This happens to everyone. You have a productive conversation or meeting, send a follow-up email\u2026and nothing. There are many terms for this: MIA, ghosted, no response\u2026<\/p>\n
You felt good about the meeting, but now you’re wondering, “What happened?!”<\/b><\/p>\n
Some typical follow-up approaches you may have tried:<\/b><\/p>\n Most of the time, these approaches don\u2019t feel great, and it seems like we’re grasping for engagement. Take a moment, shift your mindset to action instead of emotion, and develop a more structured follow-up format.<\/p>\n Remind<\/b><\/p>\n Give Value<\/b><\/p>\n Specific Options<\/b><\/p>\n An example may look like this:<\/b><\/p>\n Hi Julie,<\/p>\n Thank you for your time last week. To recap, a few key items you highlighted as important were:<\/p>\n I found an article related to Z that you might find interesting (attached). Specifically I found the section on A very useful to tie into what you are doing.<\/p>\n You mentioned wanting a follow-up call after discussing with your team. As we head into the weekend, how does next week look for you?<\/p>\n I have availability on Tuesday at [time] or Thursday at [time]. Please let me know what works best for you, and I\u2019ll send an invite.<\/p>\n Try this format next time and remember:<\/b><\/p>\n\n
